Children have proven themselves to be the fastest set of learners ever,
even when they are evidently groping with the language, naturally underaged, very inquisitive and free
for all information, their ability to learn is simply magnetic. But what is
expected of a brain under construction? A relatively empty one at that; It is
only natural that as children grow, they
fill up the brain with every iota of information available to their five human senses.
To see, hear, taste, feel and smell.
They get very involved.
This moment in my opinion is the most crucial part of life. The formative
stage. This is the time they ask questions, make endless enquiries and even
proceed to trying out the information they have. Children are Doers.

line emanated from a mail i got from a lady, "my four year old daughter
wants to wear explicit dresses, boots, skimpies and It burders me so much. I am
trying as a parent but i dont know where the problem is from, what am i doing
wrong? Because if she continues like this, i will kill her with my own hands,
please can you put this on your blog so i can hear what people would advice ?
She is just four, and for sure i feel she is a baby, please what age should i
start going firm with her"

The dance is exciting but it was suppricing that a child of that age could make such a move. It she is sharp in picking good stuff about life, good. Is left for the parent to limit her from much adult stuff they involve her before is too late.

Children are left to gather information and imbibe all kinds of "talents" from every and anywhere. Don't be shocked that the mother of the dancing kid may not be there at that party where her daughter rocked centre stage. Bondedhome, nice one.

My ans is as firm as the child requires. As for your daughter wanting adult things, I blame it all on you. Except u want to tell lies to yourself. You must have orchestrated it all either by error or wtva. You better tame her now, watch her closely from minute to minute till you may be able to find out what the problem is. ReplyDeleteit is not posible that a child would just start behaving like an audlt or be liking adult stuff if she is actively involved in children things. truly there are cases where some children would sound really great like adults but in some too, the over beairng adult influence is caused by inexperienced elderly ones. look around, she may be recieving some abiuses somewhere.

ReplyDeleteThis is a very serious issue you have brought to the front burner. because, pour society doies not have sufficient proviskion fro childen relaxation. just imagin that kind of party where a child is dancing to Azonto? if you attend an elders party too, you will still hear thesamre Azonto song, and childern who went with their parents would only be made to see how tthe elders dance it and because they have magnetic brain like theblogger put it, they would sttart trying it when the parents are not there. thiere has to be a conscious change. people have to make children remain as children . this video is really pathetic.

This child should be your first from the way you sound. My dear, pray to God for wisdom and dont base your decisions on what people are saying in this blog, many of them are not parents and they dont even knoiw what a woman goes through to raise a kid. Ys for sure, when the chilkd is doing well, tthat child is said to be the fathers child but the bad one is considered the mothers owm. Pls pray for wisdom on how to handle your child. Now tou you as a mother, the bible says train up a child in the ways of the lord so that when he is old, he would not depart from it. the bible also says spare the rod and spil the child. You are a custodian of this child and God would ask you what you have passed on to the child. So look inwards, if you are sincere enough, you would surely find out that you are the real cause of the childs yearnings. maybe you wear skimpies and boots too. So change your activities and what you expose the child to and watch her change. you are lucky she is still very young. @BONDEDHOME, you guys are doing a very goood job here. well done.
