Dearest Fan, how is your year starting? I trust
its beginning well. Let us in every way try to put God first in
all we do this year. This week I picked another terrific insurgence that is
fast taking every where...PLS READ AND DO YOUR BEST TO CURB IT.
‘’The interview was concluded and it was
time for me to decide who gets the International Management Trainee Position. I
chose the second best lady, not the best. My decision appeared irrational as
the other members of the panel wondered why I will go for the second best. It
was simple and very personal. The
supposed best candidate was poking me with her bulging boobs. I considered that very rude and loose. To
me, her dress sense was not appealing. It was harrassing. Surprisingly, every
other person on the panel scored her more marks than the second best lady who
was properly covered. The argument began. "Sir, why are we hiring the
second best?" Mrs. Ije quizzed,
"She is not second best, she is
actually the best of them all. You term her second best because her boobs are
properly covered? Because she is decently dressed? And your choice candidate is
best because she has all her boobs out?" I yelled. "Sir, I don't
understand" "why won't you misunderstand, when you are also a culprit...
"Sir, is this a personal issue or something?" "Madam Ije, I
looked straight into her eyes, call it whatever you like, this indecent
dressing in this company must stop and it starts with you. I would not open my
eyes and recruit a young lady that is already exposing her boobs at Entry Level,
by the time she becomes manager, what would she wear? And what picture of the
company would she give our clients?" and I stormed out."
How can a married woman dress like that
always, and now she is trying to bring in a new staff just because she dresses
that way too..."
People, what has happened to our
ladies/women both single and married? The supposed statement of showing-off a
little cleavage has gone bizarre, outrageous and whore-ish...it is now a common
thing for ladies and women to poke you with their uncovered boobs everywhere
you go, offices, streets even in churches.
Men are moved by what they see and when a
lady's boobs are visibly too generous, the
signal is not fashion. It is totally sexual, immoral, lustful and devilish. For
a disciplined man, you immediately would pass for a very cheap and desperate
lady and for an indisciplined man, you simply are a whore or a one-night
stander whom he should lay with as fast as possible.
Worse still, some ladies
don't only open their boobs to public glare, they leave their waistline to
reveal in most cases, very ugly stretch marked buttocks...this can be very
annoying.
Although some have argued that being properly
covered and appearing decently dressed doesn't make one a decent person...this
might be true...it however doesn't negate the fact that you would be addressed
the way you are dressed.

Please if you have a sister, aunty mother
or friend who dresses that way...kindly share this view with them, it might
just change their psyche.
When married women dress very revealing,
what does this imply?
What statement is made when you encounter
such awkward fashion choice either excess cleavage or exposed buttocks?
Why aren't ladies ashamed at baring it all
out?

This issue of women dressing almost nude is getting out of hand. Women have become desperate and shameless...all for money or some rubbish they ll open everything down. And make it public view. Its surprising. When a married woman does that she is ready to get ouf that mans house. Single ladies are probably desperate and in need of a husband. God help us.

When I wus a kid, I cld tell a whore by mere seeing her appearance (had one as a neighbour) but these days, nudity is the new fashion hotness! Its disheartening to note that 'corporate prostitution' has become so popularised that it culd win a 'grammy' if it were a song or album. The sad part is these ladies alws find an excuse for dressing that way, "this is what I feel comfy in!". Besides, its more annoying to see these ill clad ladies dress same way to the house of God (from experience - she made me lose focus in church). When the men treat them the way 'Tastee fried Chicken' (TFC)treats chicken (slogan - we do chicken right!), they cry and complain abt being abused. Our women need to show substance and not cleavage! ReplyDeleteThis is a nice observation,but I know it will continue to get worse. Everything is changing rapidly. I know some ladies during my undergraduate days that couldn't wear trousers then, but now the stories have change. Ladies want to feel belong.

ReplyDeleteI seriously detest dressing half naked in public, I honestly can't tolerate it hence I make frantic efforts to enlighten my female friends. My wife won't dare it anyways but the day she mistakenly does, I'd make sure the nearest boutique rips some good money off her before she smells the house! Once her body is exposed to the public, for me, it becomes a left-over so I don't get moved anymore! Fredrick

ReplyDeletethis is a major issue that realy has to be addressed. as much as people have freedom to dress the way they like, they should not also infringe on the rights of others. iThey have tried to copy the white mans culture and now misusing it here. What poains me is the one that is done by married women. if a married woman dress like that, what example is she creating for her children and all those that look up to her? isnt she simply saying it is okay to dress nude and move around like a whore? infact any married woman that dresses like that is simply telling her husband that he is not doing well. and she needs anohter man .

No once can justify such an act. if you dress nude, you should not give excuses for your choise. some women would say it is their jobs that is making them do that. if your grounds were strong enough, no ne would force you to do that.

When a man walks into a place and his commendation goes to that 'hot girl' in the presence of the modest girl, hw do u think that modest girl will feel?
So I do believe the guys are simply getting what they ask for. When we all stop worshiping those bad girls and appreciating the goodly dressed once then we will all know who is truly bad.

ReplyDeleteIn our society today, most people find indecent dressing to be a tool for improving beauty, the western influence has damage so many things about our culture, they all want to look like Rihanna and beyonce we are AFRICANS if Americans and the rest of the world are uncultured we are ! check out the latest trends of female clothing, you see leggings and skimpy gowns, showing their shapes a lot, and almost Unclad short skirt rocked with tight transparent leggings and all tthat. This practice is contrary to acceptable norms and values of any SANE society. NUDITY is the 1st noticeable feature of MADNESS! Now I'm not going to sit here and tell you we men don't find mad women attractive too but I'm not sure there will be demand for something that's short in supply maybe if our ladies should start dressing decently maybe we men will start living a decent life too . And a good wife, the one that's not insane should not go out there publicising what belongs to me. Companys prefer using women in marketing because they believe they can woe anyone by exposing their boobs or by flaunting what they've got and that's wrong. I don't believe banks that have ladies that dress indecently have more customers than the others that dress decently but do we have bankers that dress decently now? Ladies just want to create uneceSsary attention they want to be noticed in the public its now very strange to see a sane woman. But let me tell you you can look good dressing good and the way you look matters a lot because its a summary of who you are and there are some offers that can't be brought to you. ReplyDeleteSeriously? Am I to believe that an interviewing panel, or at lease a single individual on it, hired the "second best" candidate on the strength of her modesty alone? If that's the case then they all should be fired. For Pete's sake every interview consists of various criteria and indices that make up the sum total of a candidate's suitability for a position. Any organization or individual that places the highest premium on outward appearance (except for jobs like modelling and the like where it is the outside that counts) is certainly not ready for business.
ReplyDeleteLets even leave out the fact that we are not told the nature of the job or its requirements in the first place, I still call it myopic to disqualify the best candidate on her 'indecent' apparel alone. Lets stop and ask ourselves this: why would a bright, intelligent and suitable young woman dress in such a manner to an interview? If she was considered the best candidate then surely she possesses skills that would fit right in for the position sought.
Many times appearance is not reality and things are not always what they seem. Maybe the poor girl had to come into town the previous night via ABC's night bus and had her luggage lost and borrowed the clothes of her host which are several sizes too small, all because she lacks the funds to buy brand new suits on that very day of the interview. Or maybe she has been abused psychologically and told time and again that the only way a beautiful woman like herself would get a job is if she seduces male interviewers. Or maybe she was raised with a very low sense of self-worth and made to believe that she's nothing but gutter material? The possibilities are endless. And unless we know for sure all we have are conjectures, which judging from all the comments I've read here and the article itself is that she's a loose and immoral girl.
There is no doubt that values in our society are being eroded daily and that of morality and decency in dressing is taking a huge hit. But to paraphrase Chimamanda Adichie in her TED Talks lecture, there exists a danger in the one-sided story. Dig deeper, ask questions and above all give the benefit of the doubt until you learn contrary.

Hmmmm. Things have gone Hay-Wire. Can you beat it? For some of us single guys, the choice of a wife has become increasingly diFficult because I feel that once a lady is free enough to show her boobs, bum, navel to the public, she appears to me like a lady that would be very willing to loose standards at any point in time.
