And…finally, the leave comes to
an end. Call it writers block or black page… I must confess I experienced
something close to that… Yours truly was actually busy writing some
“grattificio” . I decided to take a break from the “charifficios”, if you
decode me. I am hereby sorry for the unannounced sojourn.. I am back and back
for good. What I am about to share may not really have direct bearing on you,
it might on someone you know…just share the news… so you don’t wait until you
are the victim.
WHAT YOU SHOULD FEAR MOST WHEN
YOU LOOSE YOUR PHONE…don’t be a victim.
At a bus-stop, I saw this young
lady crying and rolling on the ground, surrounded by some other ladies and a
guy, they were all passing a phone among themselves, once the phone is passed
and the person looks at the screen, she screams and puts her hand on her head
and then passes it on. It looked like trouble. They tried to console the lady
but by this time, she was acting insane. She was screaming helplessly like
someone who just confirmed they had Ebola and HIV at once. So that I wont be
left out, I was forced to take a closer look. On getting there, they had a
MAJOR ISSUE.
She had lost her blackberry and
as if that wasn’t enough, the guy who stole or found the phone decided to mess
her up. In the missing phone, she has over fifty nude pictures of herself and a
man, not her husband, kissing romantically. The fellow decided to upload these
nude pictures of her on her facebook wall, twitter and her instagram. NUDE
PICTURES OF HER AND HER BOBO, while her husband is hustling in far away South
Africa. In less than a minute, her other phone began to blare with numerous
calls from friends and family who had seen the abomination. At the point she
realised the damage, she was damaged…
The whole scenario dawned on me
that her husband, all her facebook friends, their friends and their friends
friends , her followers on twitter and the instagram community has been fed to
her unholy nudeness. This is disaster. As a telecoms expert, I decided to wade
in. At least I offered a quick and temporary solution. I told her to call
customer care and request that the blackberry service be terminated. I don’t
know how that played out though.
Now, lets us put this on a scale…aside the fact that this lady was nude with another man, not her husband, hasn't it become almost legal and normal for people to keep nude pictures of themselves in their phones? With the level of nudity that is available on social media and television, is it not gradually melting into a common tradition? what is it with the need to be nude even from supposed decent looking people?
In many situations, the ladies are often more guilty of the nude saga... some would just say they are going nude because that is what men want, some would say it is in a bid to look beautiful and accepted. Where are we headed really...is any lady justified going nude just because she needs to be acceptable by any man?
So, men, do you really like the women half-dressed or nude at worst? I have thought of it, how would a woman walk on the streets and go to the office almost half naked just to attract another woman? yes, they might in very extreme cases, but this trend of soft nudity is a general one now, a fact that justifies their claim on men... Lets get answers...
